Friday Fab Finds~ a weekly snippet of creative and delicious ideas for your wedding!

Fab Finds

Happy Friday everyone! We are gearing up for a busy weekend with the wedding of Gaby & Matt at Holy Spirit Church in Fountain Valley and the Irvine Hilton. After that I am leaving on a jet plane heading up to Napa for the wedding of my dear friend Nancy. So excited to see one of my oldest friends tie the knot! I am super excited to take in the gorgeous backdrop of Silver Oak Winery~ talk about an amazing place to get married. It is always nice for us wedding planners to get to actually be a guest at a wedding! Looking forward to getting my grove on and sipping some delicious wine- yum yum. 🙂

Lately it seems that many of our couples are opting to not have flower girls and ring bearers in their wedding party, but for those of you who are keeping to tradition, I think it is nice to think outside the proverbial box when deciding on what your little attendants will carry on their trip down the aisle.

So say goodbye to lacy pillows and white baskets and check out some hip ways of getting the rings to the alter!

For anyone who knows me I have developed this crazy addiction to all things bird related (except the real deal) so when I saw this nest ring holder I had to share! This would have been perfect for Jessica & Jacob’s wedding!

All of these great photos and ideas came from Ritzy Bee Blog~ check it out for other amazing ideas.

Now for the little ladies~ skip the basket and check out these chic flower purses! Perfect for the church ceremony since they don’t allow petals anyways. You can give your little attendant a darling custom purse that go perfectly with your design and colors.

We took the purse idea to one of our past client’s, Stefanie, and made purses covered in flowers in the shape of their initials, it was absolutely adorable! The best part is you can re-use them after the ceremony, check out how cute they looked on the sweetheart table. See more details on this design here.

Last but not least we are super into these darling flower girl wands, a great DIY project brought to you by the fabulous Martha!
