With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we thought we would take the edge off of your holiday stress and help inspire you with some Thanksgiving design ideas. Enjoy!

 

Get Crafty!: Find your inner creativity with custom menus or a place card attached to a mini pumpkin. Check out these free Thanksgiving printables – perfect for decorating your table!

 

A table for feasting: to create a lushly decorated dining table start with a textured or patterned runner, add a fresh garland of greens, branches, or leaves to create a nice base of color and texture. Glam it up with some unexpected gold pumpkins and gourds. Add in glass cylinders filled with a pillar candle and whole walnuts, acorns, or hazelnuts. I use books in most of my designs to create a varying height on the table. Set candles and mini pumpkins on top to give your table more visual interest.

 

 

 

Bountiful Buffet: set your side board or buffet with all your Thanksgiving fixings and some great decor to make your recipes POP! Adding a rustic wood plank creates a textured unexpected presentation for your guests. To give the table height, take a simple glass cylinder, fill it with lentils, gold pebbles or nuts, place branches inside and voila you have a simple yet elegant addition to your buffet!

 

 

Pretty Little Details: to really WOW your guests consider adding in sweet details like a mini garland of greens or fall leaves tied to the backs of their chairs, a beautifully adorned place setting. Have your guests write down what they are most thankful for this year and share it during dinner – such a great conversation starter!
