Host a Lovely “Galentine’s” Day Brunch
We are just a week away from Valentine’s Day, and what better way to spread the love than to throw an awesome Galentine’s Day brunch for you and your girl friends. Feel like you don’t have time? We have created a step-by-step guide on how to plan a Valentine’s Day themed event. So pick a date, leave the men at home, and start crafting!
Step 1. A Photo-Worthy Backdrop
How adorable is this graphic red heart backdrop? Better yet, it’s super simple! All you need are red heart-shaped plates and adhesive tape, and just like that – you have the perfect Instagram backdrop! Click here for instructions.

Another suggestion provided by Babble, floating paper hearts. This would work perfectly as a backdrop or even as a hanging centerpiece for the table.
Step 2. Simple Table Design
We are in love with this diy XOXO table cloth created by Walk in Love. Fill the table with different shades of pinks (this is the time to do it), and gold pieces.
Pops of berry, bright pinks, blush, and whites are the perfect combination for a great centerpiece. We suggest picking peonies and roses, they are never a let down 🙂

Step 3. Mimosa Bar!
Provide the chilled champs, pour the juice options, add some champagne flutes – simple as that!

Step 4. Sweets & Treats
Need we say more? Keep your guests happy with a display of sweet treats. Our suggestions: mini donuts, cake pops, truffles, macaroons, and breakfast pastries.
Step 5. The Details
How gorgeous is this rose garland? Add a romantic touch by stringing a rose garland across the front of the dessert table, on an empty wall, or hang them as a backdrop.

Adding sweet details to your party decor will make you a stand-out hostess. We love these “Love is Sweet” gold print napkins and heart straws from Etsy. The mini XOXO mylar balloons, fringe, and balloons are always a great combo for some wall decor. Purchase this whole package through Etsy here.

Step 6. An Activity for the Girls – Cookie Decorating!
Set up a fun activity your girl friends can participate in. We love the idea of cookie decorating… or more like cookie eating. Arrange sugar cookies, different frosting flavors, decorating tools, and yummy sprinkles to create adorable conversation heart cookies. Need help baking sugar cookies? The experts at Freutcake have a delicious recipe for you here.
Step 7. Favors
Valentine’s Day is all about sharing the love with those closest to you. Send your friends off with a gift they would all love… and what girl doesn’t love fabulous red nails? Attach a sweet note and just like that, your Galentine’s Day party was a success! Can’t wait for next year!
