Team AGA Welcomes Janel!
We’re beyond thrilled to announce the addition of our newest planner to #TeamAGA, Janel!
Janel joins A Good Affair with over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry for luxury hotels and destinations. She’s worked for high-profile companies such as The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Starwood Hotels & Universal Studios Hollywood. She has worked a wide range of events from opening hotels to red carpet premiers and everything in between. She decided to focus exclusively on weddings in 2009 by assisting some of the top wedding planners in Los Angeles & eventually running her own business. Event planning comes natural to Janel and it is her passion, personally and professionally. Janel puts an emphasis on making her clients feel special and she prides herself on providing the best client experience (it comes from her Ritz-Carlton days!)
Janel attended the University of San Diego and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She went on to get a Master’s in Psychology and feels that it has helped her become a more compassionate and intuitive person. Janel is able to understand the dynamics of a couple’s relationship and how it can come to play during the wedding planning process. She is able to mediate sensitive situations, listen effectively and manage a couple’s stress level.
When Janel is not busy planning client events, she is busy planning her own. She loves to play hostess, try new restaurants, travel and spend time with her husband Jorge & two adorable boys Alex & Andy.
