Jessica & Jacob's Intimate Backyard Reception

Featured Wedding

We did a fabulous wedding reception for Jessica and Jacob a couple of week’s ago. I can’t say enough about this amazing couple. Jessica is so much fun and was just a joy to work with. They decided to have an intimate ceremony and reception in their awesome backyard. When I went to see their home for the first time I was shocked to find Ziggy their pet duck! She is the cutest thing ever. Jessica is an avid animal lover, which I totally relate to, and Ziggy is her 2nd love, after Jacob of course!

I just love the love story behind these two, they grew up together, in fact their parent’s were in each others weddings! Then as they got older the families grew apart- but the two of them found one another year’s later and have been together ever since- now that is soul mate status if you ask me!

After booking us for our coordination services Jessica started to tell me about her very specific design style and the wants for her wedding. We just kept bouncing ideas off of one another and quickly came up with an amazing unique “foresty natural” look that screamed Jessica’s style.

Jaimee with Capturing Moments Photography rocked out some amazing photos as usual, thanks Jaim!

This is hands down one of our favorite bouquets! It was huge complete with amazing ranunculus, hyacinth, and dried mushrooms & Dogwood blooms- custom wrapped with birch bark and jute twine.

Again with something fabulous- Jacob’s Bout was wrapped with real birch bark, lavender, and a lovely hyacinth mini bloom.

Great shot in Downtown Fullerton!

We took vintage Mason Jars and hung them from Shepard’s Hooks- perfect for an outdoor ceremony.

By far one of the CUTEST cakes I have ever seen! Simply Sweet Cakery is amazing- the ENTIRE cake was scarfed down by guests. The mushrooms, birch, and fern design is just adorable and again SO Jessica. Sitting pretty on top of this custom made cake stand offered by Simply Sweet.

Had to include this shot- Jacob thought it would be awesome to have these beer coozies- they became quiet the conversation piece amongst guests. I find it comical that they are photographed with delicate flowers behind them!

Jessica & Jacob, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your very special day! Working with you was so rewarding and just a ton of fun.
