Romantic Ranch Wedding

Tessa & Ryan | Destination Solvang, Whispering Rose Ranch

When considering the perfect location for their wedding, Tessa and Ryan expressed that they wanted a unique location that would take guests on an adventure well out of their local area but still be within driving distance. With a clear vision of the wedding design based on the couple’s personal style (soft, romantic and elegant), Natalie was tasked with locating a venue with a country vibe that was both elegant and luxurious. This lead her to the most beautiful sprawling ranch in the quaint town of Solvang.

From the Bride, Tessa: Honestly, I had never actually thought about doing a destination wedding. But when I explained my style and vision to my wedding planner she suggested a beautiful ranch style venue that she thought would be absolutely what I was in-visioning in Solvang, Santa Barbara. With Santa Barbara being about three hours away from our family and most of our guests, I was initially a little bit nervous about everyone having to drive all the way out there and more than likely stay for the weekend, but once I saw the venue I knew that it was 100% worth it.

The venue Whispering Rose Ranch held a unique and romantic charm that immediately intrigued the couple and offered a variety of event spaces. The ceremony, held on a gorgeous, tree-lined drive, incorporated a stunning arch made of tree branch beam and soft touches of blush florals and greenery. The bride arrived in a horse-drawn carriage and butterflies were released at the end of the ceremony, topping off a truly romantic affair!

The reception featured long, rustic wood tables accented by lush floral arrangements of rose gold. A unique touch at each place setting was a spring of rosemary that was added to each napkin treatment. The bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table featuring a lavish settee and guests fell in love with antique bookcase that held the couple’s dessert display.
