A little party never killed nobody…and we agree! Tara’s luxurious Great Gatsby themed 30th birthday party was an absolute hit. Even the rain couldn’t stop us from partying! The sophisticated and sexy feel and rich gold and black tones gave this bash a killer look. This intimate event was definitely not small by any means. We decided to invite a few friends to join the celebration – a charming unicorn, Allie the monkey, a mesmerizing magician, and that’s just to name a few. Tara’s private Los Angeles home was transformed into a canopy of lush hanging florals and greenery, sheer white draping, and glamorous chandeliers.

How gorgeous is this custom floral wall created by Edge Design Decor? What a great way to add some texture, dimension and creativity to the party!

A party is not complete without some sweet treats. This amazingly detailed three-tiered cake created by Vanilla Bake Shop, was the perfect centerpiece for the dessert table. An assortment of flavored cupcakes, a variety of popcorns, salt water taffy, endless chocolates, and of course these adorable flapper dress and mustache cookies. Guests could not get enough of the treats, filling their custom made boxes to enjoy later!

Fur and patterns made for a swanky lounge area. Complete with plush fur seats, patterned poufs, soft white shag rugs, and faux fur blankets to keep warm from the rain.

With pops of blush and bright pink and flowing greenery surrounding the area, this event was brought to life. Stacked vintage books, decorative pieces, and gold painted animals truly added unique touches to the design.

How perfect are these hand drawn signs? We definitely wanted to incorporate quotes and fun phrases to go with the Gatsby theme, and why not make the quotes about champs? 😉

To make things even more magical, we invited our friend Willow the miniature unicorn. She was an absolute hit with all of the guests, and even made her way to our dessert table!

Party goers enjoyed getting a caricature drawing and a delicious cotton candy treat.

… and we saved the best for last. Next to Tara, Allie the monkey was the star of the night! Wishing Tara a wonderful 30th year!
